Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya

This school is located in Simultala, which is part of the Jamui district. It is a bit of a unique place because it is a residential school. That means the students live here for most of the year. The campus is spread out with dorms and classrooms all in one general area. It is a quiet part of the world, away from the big city noise. We have a lot of hills and trees around us, which makes for a different kind of school day. The students have a set routine from the time they wake up until they go to sleep. We have a dining hall where everyone eats together. The buildings are functional and have been designed to handle a lot of people living in them at once. It’s not a luxury setup, just basic living and learning quarters. The staff stays here too, so we are all part of the same environment. In the evenings, you can see groups of students walking around or playing on the grounds. Jamui can get quite hot, but the buildings are built to stay relatively cool. We focus on the studies and the daily chores that come with living in a hostel. It is a simple life for the most part. There are no distractions out here, which helps with the concentration. We just run the place as best as we can. It works for the students.
