The Residential Oxford Public School

We are located right on Sh 6 in Amari, here in Jamui. Most people just know us as the school on the highway. It is a residential place, so the kids are here day and night. It gets pretty quiet in the evenings after classes end, but the mornings are always a bit of a rush. We have been here for a while now. The building is just a normal one, nothing too fancy, and we try to keep things running smooth. Sometimes the power goes out or the water pump acts up, but we fix it and keep going. The teachers live nearby or stay on campus too. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just some classrooms and the dorms. Parents come by on weekends to see their children. It’s a lot of work looking after so many kids all the time. We make sure they eat their meals and do their homework. The road outside can get dusty in the summer. Life here is simple. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or cousins. We just focus on the daily stuff, making sure the kids are in class and the kitchen has enough supplies for the week. It’s a basic life here in Amari, but we are used to it. The school yard has a bit of grass where they play. That is pretty much it for us.
