If you are looking for us, we are over in Lakrikolatola-Jhirva, which is part of the Lakrikola panchayat in Banka. Our main spot is at Palan Manjhi’s place. Banka is a quiet area and most people here know each other through the land. We started Cropbanka because a few of us felt that doing things alone wasn't working out as well as it used to. Farming is tough work, and the older we get, the more we realize that. We deal with seeds, soil, and the harvest every single day. There is no magic to it, just a lot of sweat and hoping for rain. Palan Manjhi is well known around here, so using his house as our base made the most sense. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure the farmers in our little corner of the world can get a fair deal. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea while talking about the insects or the dirt. Other days are busy and everyone is running around trying to get things loaded or moved. It is a bit messy sometimes, and the paperwork usually takes longer than it should because we are not office people. We are just villagers doing what we know best. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just trying to keep the farms going. It is a practical life and we take it one day at a time.
