Wood Decor St Marks Road

We’ve got our shop at No.4/2 on St Marks Road. Most people find us by looking for the old Ing Vysya Bank across the street. It’s a busy road, especially in the afternoons, so there’s always noise from the traffic. We deal with wooden items and decor, as the name suggests. The space isn't huge, but we pack quite a bit into it. You’ll find all sorts of wood pieces scattered around. Sometimes the smell of the wood is really strong when you walk in. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just us running the place day to day. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space for new arrivals. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the occasional leaky tap or a creaky floorboard. We don't mind it much. It feels more like a workshop than a store sometimes. People often wander in while they’re walking down St Marks Road just to see what we have on the shelves. We aren't into high-pressure sales or anything. We usually just let people look around while we get on with our tasks. It can get a bit dusty with all the wood, but that's part of the trade. It's a simple operation, really. We've been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners nearby.
