Our place is located at No.35/1 on Yellappa Chetty Cross Road, right near the corner of Halasur Road in Ulsoor. It’s a very central spot, which makes it convenient, but the traffic on Halasur Road can be a real nightmare during rush hour. We’ve been based here for a good while, and we’re quite used to the constant hum of the city outside our windows. Inside, the office is pretty basic. We have some sample displays and a lot of binders full of orders and schedules. We mostly deal with building materials, so there is always a lot of coordination happening between the site and the suppliers. It’s not a glamorous job, but we enjoy the rhythm of it. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at our desks figuring out delivery routes. Most of our customers are builders or people doing major renovations who need reliable materials. We don’t have a fancy reception area with coffee machines or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. People come in, we talk about what they need, and we see how we can help them. Being in Ulsoor has its perks, like being close to everything, but it also means we have to deal with the noise and the crowds. We’ve lived and worked in this area long enough that it just feels natural to us. We’re just a regular business doing our part in the building trade.
