The yard is located out in Domlur Challagatta, just off the Ring Road at 41580. It’s a dusty place, honestly, but that is just how it goes when you deal with bricks and tiles all day long. We have stacks of red bricks piled up high near the entrance and crates of different tiles tucked away in the back under the tin roof. Most days are spent loading trucks or checking the inventory lists to see what we have left in the yard. The noise from the Ring Road is constant, so you get used to shouting a bit to be heard over the trucks passing by. We have a small office on-site where we keep the records and a computer, but most of the work happens outside in the open air. It gets quite muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a mess to move things around, but we manage somehow. People come by looking for materials for their house repairs or small building projects in the area. We aren't a giant operation with hundreds of people, just a handful of us keeping things moving every day. Sometimes the tile colors don't match perfectly, so we spend a lot of time sorting through them by hand. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually stained with red dust by the end of the shift. That’s just the nature of the business here. We've been at this spot for a while now and know the local roads very well.
