We've been over here on Magadi Road for a good while now. It's the 4th Cross, right at number 8 if you're looking for the spot. People around here usually know us just for the bricks. We keep a lot of them stacked up and ready to go. It’s a dusty job, and my clothes usually show it by the end of the day, but that’s just how it is with masonry work. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just the yard where the trucks pull in. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the street when a big delivery comes through, but we manage. My father started things out, and we just kept going along the same lines. We don't spend much time on the computer or making flyers. Usually, someone just stops by because they saw the sign or heard from a neighbor who was building a wall or a small house nearby. We load the bricks, settle the bill, and that’s about it. It isn't complicated. We try to keep the stacks tidy, though they never stay that way for long. The rain can be a bit of a nuisance during the monsoon, making the ground muddy, but the work doesn't stop. If you're coming down Magadi Road, you’ll see the piles. Just pull in and talk to whoever is around. We're usually here from early morning until the sun starts to go down.
