Wave Mechanics Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at V-3, 1st Main Road in the 1st Stage of Peenya Industrial Estate. If you know Peenya, you know how the roads can be, especially during the morning rush. Our building is a simple one, right on the 1st Main. Inside, it’s all about mechanical components. We have rows of machines that have been working for years. It’s not a sterile environment like a lab; there’s grease, there’s metal shavings, and there’s always a bit of a mess that needs cleaning up at the end of the shift. We do a lot of precision work, but the atmosphere is very casual. The guys wear their work clothes and don't worry about getting dirty. We’ve got a small corner for keeping the blueprints and drawings, though they usually end up with thumbprints on them. The light coming through the windows isn't great, so we have plenty of overhead lamps to see what we are doing. Lunchtime usually involves some talk about local news or the latest cricket scores. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales team. Most of our work comes from people who have been dealing with us for a long time. It’s a straightforward business. We come in, we set the machines, and we produce what's needed. It's how things have always worked for us in the 1st Stage of Peenya.
