Our shop is A-347 on the 9th Main Road in the second stage of the Peenya Industrial Estate. Peenya is a massive industrial area, and it can be easy to get lost if you do not know your way around the blocks. We do CNC work, which basically means a lot of sitting at computer monitors and then watching the machines do the heavy lifting. It is a weird mix of technology and manual labor. The air inside the shop always has that distinct smell of cutting fluid and metal. We have got a few benches set up for manual finishing too, because the machines simply cannot do everything perfectly. We are not a fancy outfit by any means. The office is just a small desk in the corner with a lot of paperwork piled up on it. We mostly deal with other businesses around Bangalore who need specific parts made to a very certain size. It is a steady rhythm for us. Some days are a bit slow, while on others we are working right through our lunch break just to get a batch finished on time. We have been in this exact spot for a few years now and the neighbors are all good people. We just try to do right by the folks who decide to give us work. It is not a complicated business, just a matter of showing up and putting in the hours until the job is done.
