Whitefield is a busy place to have an office, especially with the way the traffic has been lately. Synplicity India has been tucked away here for some time now. Some mornings it takes an hour just to get through the main junction, which is frustrating, but once we get inside and get the computers started, things settle down. We have a small team and everyone knows each other’s business maybe a bit too much. We do a lot of technical work, but we don't talk about it like it's some grand thing. It’s just a job. The office has some old chairs that we probably should have replaced a year ago, but they still work well enough for now. We usually order lunch together from the place around the corner because no one wants to lose their parking spot by driving out. Bangalore is growing so fast that sometimes the street outside looks different every month. We’ve seen a lot of buildings go up around us while we’ve been sitting here. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything, just a functional space where we can sit and do what we need to do. There’s always someone complaining about the internet speed or the coffee being cold, but that’s just how office life is. We don't really do the whole formal suits thing, mostly just jeans and regular shirts because it’s more practical for the long days we put in.
