Shanti Nagar has a different feel than the rest of Bangalore. It’s a bit more settled. Stellapps Technologies is located at 3/1 on the 2nd Cross of Laxmi Road. It’s one of those streets where you have to watch out for the scooters zooming by when you step out of the door. The office is pretty straightforward. We have our computers and a kitchen that usually smells like someone’s lunch. Being on the 2nd Cross means we’re tucked away from the main road noise a bit, which is nice when you’re trying to think. We do a lot of tech work here, but if you walked in, you’d just see people staring at screens and maybe some whiteboard drawings that don't make sense to anyone else. It gets pretty busy, especially when there’s a deadline coming up. We don't have fancy lounge areas or bean bags. It's just a place to work. We talk about the weather and the traffic a lot, like everyone else in this city. Some of the guys have been here since the beginning. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. It’s a good spot to be in, close enough to everything but still feels like a real neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and get the coding and the data stuff done. It’s not about being the biggest; it’s just about doing the work we have for the day.
