Hajee Jana & Sons

Hajee Jana & Sons is located at units 3 and 4, which is right near the Sapna Book Shop. Most people in this area use the book shop as a landmark, so we are easy to find. We are a family business through and through, and we have been in this spot for quite a long time. The shop is spread across two units, giving us a bit of room to store all the different items we keep in stock. It’s not a modern, sleek store. We still have the old wooden counters and shelves that have been here for years. It has a bit of a lived-in feel, with papers and ledger books scattered around. We don't use a lot of fancy technology to run the place; we mostly rely on what we know and our memory of where everything is kept. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we first opened, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We have regular customers who have been coming to us for decades, and now their children come to us too. It is a slow and steady way of working. We don't have any big goals of expanding or anything like that. We just want to keep the doors open and continue serving the people who drop by after visiting the book shop next door.
