G. G. & Sons

We’ve been running G. G. & Sons from our spot at 5A/14 Ansari Road for quite a few years now. Darya Ganj is a special place to work, especially with all the history and the famous book markets that happen around here every weekend. Our office is tucked away in one of those classic Delhi buildings where the walls are thick and the hallways are a bit narrow. We are a family-run business, as you can probably tell from the name. It started with the previous generation and now we are just keeping it going the best we can. We don't really go for anything flashy or modern in our decor. Our desks are piled with papers and there is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. Working in Darya Ganj means dealing with a lot of noise and crowds outside, but once you step inside, it’s much quieter and more focused. We handle a lot of different things, mostly trade and the paperwork that comes with being in this part of town. We know most of the neighbors and the people who have shops on Ansari Road. It’s a tight-knit community in a way. We don't spend money on fancy websites or big ads. People just know we are here and they come to us when they need something handled reliably. It’s just how we have always done things, and it seems to work out fine for everyone involved.
