Priyaraj Electronics Ltd. is tucked away at 18-A in the Doddanakundi Industrial Area. Being in Mahadevpura means we deal with the Bangalore traffic every single morning just to get to the gate. Our building is a bit gray and looks like every other place on this road, but inside we’ve got our benches set up for all the electronic work. There’s a lot of tiny screws and components lying around, so you have to watch where you put your coffee mug. We aren't a giant corporation with a gym or a cafeteria. We usually just eat our lunch at the desks or go out to the small stall near the industrial area entrance. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good because the machines put out some heat. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses or checking circuits. It’s quiet work for the most part, except when someone is testing a buzzer or a motor. The Doddanakundi area is always under construction or has some road work going on, so the windows stay shut to keep the grime out. We’ve got a small team and we all know who makes the best tea in the afternoon. It’s a steady job in a busy part of town. We just focus on the boards and the wires and try to get the orders boxed up by five o'clock.
