Ltd. operates from this building and it is usually a mix of quiet focused work and the sound of people discussing new ideas. The estate itself is quite busy but once you step inside our unit, it feels a bit different. We have tables covered in sketches and rolls of paper and various prototypes that we have been working on. The light comes in through the high windows and hits the dust motes dancing in the air. It is not a perfectly clean studio like you see in magazines because we are actually making things here. There are scraps of material and half-finished models scattered around. We spend a lot of time debating small details and trying to figure out how to make a design work better in real life. The staff usually brings their lunch and we eat together at the big central table when it is not covered in project work.
