Shiv Metal Industries

You can find Shiv Metal Industries tucked away in the Shiv Paper Product Compound. We’re right off the S.G. Highway, just across from the Kargil Petrol Pump and behind Parmanand Farm. It’s a bit of a maze getting back here if you don’t know the Chanakyapuri Road area well. The workshop is usually quite loud because of the metal work. There’s always the sound of cutting or grinding going on. We have been in this spot for years and the shop floor is pretty worn out, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We deal with a lot of heavy materials every day. The air is often dusty, and the guys wear their overalls until they’re covered in grease. It’s honest work. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back near the machines. We keep a lot of stock piled up in the corners, so you have to watch your step when you walk through. The heat from the highway travels in during the summer months and it gets quite stuffy. It’s a practical space for what we do. We just get on with the jobs as they come in. Nothing fancy, just a lot of metal and hard work. Most of our regulars know to call ahead so we can clear some space for their trucks. It's just a regular industrial shop.
