You can find us at 53/1, Phase-1, G.I.D.C., Vatva, which is a busy corner of the industrial zone. Our work revolves around gum and adhesives, so there’s always a bit of a sticky situation going on inside the factory. The mixing vats take up most of the space, and the smell of the raw materials is something you get used to after a few days. It’s a hot environment, especially during the summer months in Gujarat, but we have big fans that help move the air around. We aren't a corporate giant with a glass building; we are a functional unit that focuses on production. The trucks come in early to drop off supplies, and then it’s a race to get the batches mixed and packed. We have a small office near the front gate where we keep the paperwork, but most of us prefer being out where the action is. Sometimes the drains in the area act up when it rains heavy, but we’ve built some barriers to keep the water out. The people working here have been part of the family for a long time, and we all know how the machines sound when they are running right. We don’t waste much time on meetings or big speeches. We just check the consistency of the gum, make sure the packaging is tight, and get the orders ready for shipping. That’s how Shashvat Gum Industries stays moving day after day.
