Sarjen Systems Pvt. Ltd. is up on the 10th floor of Akshat Tower. Being on S.G. Highway means we see a lot of the city's growth happening right outside our windows. We are right opposite Rajpath Club, and when the weather is clear, the view is actually quite nice, though we usually have the blinds down to keep the glare off the monitors. Getting to work involves navigating the traffic near Pakvan-II, which can be a bit of a nightmare during the morning rush. The office itself is full of people who have been here for a long time. It’s a modern building, but inside our space, it feels very lived-in. We have boxes of equipment tucked into corners and cables running along the floor in some spots. We spend a lot of time in front of screens, as you might expect. Lunchtime is usually a social affair where we all gather around the big table in the pantry. It’s not a quiet place; there is always some discussion going on about a project or a bug that needs fixing. We are near Bodakdev, so there are plenty of places to go if we need a break from the office. Even though we are on the 10th floor, we feel connected to the hustle and bustle of Ahmedabad below us. We just focus on getting through our task lists and making sure the systems stay running.
