Our office is situated at 6/2 Kaihondrahalli, which is out on Sarjapur Road near the Carmelram post office. If you live in Bangalore, you know exactly how the traffic is around here, so we usually try to get in early before the roads get completely blocked. The space we have is a mix of a design studio and a place to show some of our work. We have people sketching out ideas and others looking at wood samples or fabric swatches. It’s a bit more creative than a standard office, so there are always drawings pinned to the walls and piles of magazines lying around. We spend a lot of time talking about how to make furniture look a certain way without it being too complicated. Sometimes we have clients come in to look at prototypes, and we just sit around a big table and go over the details. It can get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project, with stuff scattered everywhere. We try to stay organized, but when you’re working on designs, things tend to get a bit cluttered. The team is pretty small, and we all know each other well. We aren’t trying to be the biggest firm out there, just trying to make stuff that looks good and works for people’s homes. It’s a nice enough place to work, even with the Sarjapur dust.
