Pete'S Furniture

Pete’S Furniture is located at 2023/C, 14th Main, right at the corner of 1st Cross in HAL 2nd Stage. This is right in the heart of Indira Nagar, so it’s a lively neighborhood to be in. We’ve been around for a while, making and selling furniture for the local houses. Our shop isn't like those giant furniture malls you see on the outskirts of the city. It’s a more personal space where things are a bit cramped because we have so many tables and cupboards squeezed in. You can usually hear the sound of some sanding or hammering coming from the back area where we do some of the finishing work. We use a lot of solid wood, so the place always has that particular woody smell. It’s just a small team of us here. We handle the sales and the loading ourselves most days. Indira Nagar has become so expensive lately, but we’ve managed to stay put in our little corner. People stop by while they are out for a walk or after getting coffee nearby. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us and the furniture. Sometimes we sit on the display sofas when the shop is empty, just taking a break. It’s a good, honest way to spend the day, surrounded by things we’ve helped put together for people's homes.
