New Delhi Furnitures

You can find us on 80 Feet Road in the 4th Block area. New Delhi Furnitures is the name on the board, though we are not actually in Delhi, of course. This part of the city has changed a lot over the years. It used to be much quieter, but now there are cars and bikes everywhere at all hours of the day. Our building is a bit older than the new ones popping up all around us. We have two floors, so we spend a lot of time walking up and down the stairs to show people different items. The furniture is heavy, so moving things around is a real workout for the guys. We do not have a fancy showroom with air conditioning that works all the time. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy inside when the sun is hitting the glass. We just open the doors and let the breeze in from the road. We deal with all sorts of people, from students looking for a cheap desk to families wanting a big dining table for their new home. Everyone wants a discount, and we do what we can to help them out. Lunch is usually a quick affair, someone goes out to get idlis from the corner or we eat what we brought. The street lights come on in the evening and that is when it gets really busy with people coming home from their offices.
