N V N Cranes

Our shop is at 53/8 Kamakshi Palya, right on S M Road. Most people know it as Ayyappa Temple Road because of the temple nearby. We are sitting directly opposite Thirumala Hospital. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re in this part of town. We’ve got our cranes parked there and we handle all sorts of lifting work. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My cousin and I started out with one old truck and just kept going from there. The road outside can get really crowded, especially when there are ceremonies at the temple or a lot of activity at the hospital. We have to be careful coming and going. We do recovery work and help out on small building sites around the neighborhood. It’s hard, physical work and we are usually covered in dust by the end of the shift. We don’t have a website or any of that fancy stuff. Most people just find us by seeing the cranes or hearing about us from a neighbor. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to provide for our families and do a decent job for the people who hire us. Sometimes the machines break and we have to spend the weekend getting them back in shape. That’s just life in the crane business. We stay open late most days because you never know when someone will get stuck. It’s a busy life but we like it.
