Bangalore Crane Service has its main office and yard in Bommanahalli, right opposite the Vysya Bank. It’s a landmark that most people around here know, which helps when we are explaining where we are. The area is always buzzing with activity, and being near the bank means there’s a lot of foot traffic and cars. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the cranes, a small shed for tools, and a place to sit and have tea between jobs. We don't do much in terms of advertising or fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from people seeing our cranes out on the road. The traffic in Bommanahalli can be quite a challenge, especially when we’re trying to move a large crane through the main intersections. We just take it slow and get there when we get there. The guys who work here are local and they’ve been doing this kind of lifting for a long time. We handle everything from small shifts to bigger industrial loads. It’s a lot of grit and hard work, and the days can be long. We don't have any big missions or grand plans. We just like to keep the machines running and the customers satisfied with the work we do. It's a practical business for people who don't mind getting a bit dirty.
