Our office is on the first floor of the Phoenix Building in Indiranagar. Being at number 57 puts us right in one of the busiest parts of Bangalore. If you’ve ever walked around Indiranagar, you know how hard it can be to find parking, but once you get up to the first floor, it’s a bit more peaceful. At Monarch Ergonomic, we spend our time thinking about chairs and desks. The office is usually full of different models that we are testing or showing to people who drop by. It’s a working office, so you’ll see people on laptops and others moving furniture around to see how it fits. We aren't a huge conglomerate with thousands of staff; we are a focused group that knows our products well. Most of my day is spent explaining how a certain chair helps with back pain or why a desk should be at a certain height. It’s practical stuff that people actually care about. The Phoenix Building has a lot of movement, with people coming and going from different businesses. We like being part of that Indiranagar vibe. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick coffee and end up meeting someone else from the building. It’s a friendly place to work. We don't use a lot of corporate talk here. We just show you the furniture and let you sit in it to see if it’s comfortable. It is better than just looking at a catalog.
