Machinetools Marketing Division is part of Hmt Limited, and you can find us at 59, Bellary Road. The building is a big, solid place that most people in the area recognize easily. Our work is on the marketing side, which basically means we talk to a lot of people about the machine tools they need for their businesses. It is more of an office environment than a workshop. We have desks, computers, and a lot of paper files to keep track of. It isn't always fast-paced, but there is always something to do. We spend a lot of time looking at technical sheets and talking to the production side to see what is ready for delivery. Bellary Road is a busy stretch, so there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. We don't use high-pressure sales tactics or anything like that. We just show people what machines are available and explain the features. If someone needs a specific tool for their shop, we try to help them find it in our catalog. The office has a bit of an old-school feel to it, which we like. It feels dependable. We take our breaks together and usually talk about the cricket scores or what’s happening in the news. It is a steady job in a historical company, and we take pride in just being reliable and showing up every day to do the work that is expected of us.
