M K Ahmed Bazaar

We are over in Jayanagar 9th Block on the 26th Main. It’s a good corner at No.1/01. M K Ahmed Bazaar is a place where we sell groceries and household stuff. It’s more of a local market feel than a big supermarket. We’ve been serving the Jayanagar community for a long time now. The shelves are packed with rice, pulses, oils, and all the usual things you need for a kitchen. It can get pretty hectic in the mornings and evenings when everyone is getting their daily shopping done. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years. They know where every single item is kept even if it looks like a mess to others. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes because we try to fit so much into the space. We don't have fancy lighting or piped-in music playing. It’s just the sound of people talking and bags being filled up. We try to keep prices fair because we know our customers personally. They are our neighbors. Sometimes we run out of things and have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It happens. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Bangalore. We just want to be the one that people in the 9th Block rely on. It’s a lot of lifting and stocking, but it’s what we do. We’ve seen kids grow up and start shopping here for their own homes now. It feels good to be part of the neighborhood for so long.
