Jyothi Industries

We’ve been here at A-18 in the Hmt Industrial Estate for quite a while now. The building is older, but it works for what we do. Most days start pretty early because that’s when the energy is best before the heat really sets in around noon. We do a lot of small-scale manufacturing here at Jyothi Industries. It’s mostly metal parts and some plastic bits that folks need for bigger machines. You can usually hear the lathes humming the moment you walk through the gate. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace with grease on the floor and tools everywhere. My desk is usually covered in papers and drawings. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when we have several orders going at once. We don't have a big team, just a few guys who know the machines inside out. We spend a lot of time checking measurements. It’s funny how a millimeter can ruin a whole morning's work if you aren't paying attention. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up talking about the day’s problems. It’s a good spot to catch a break. We just try to get the jobs done right so we don't have to redo them later. That’s the main thing. People around the estate know us, and we've stayed in this same spot because it’s convenient for the trucks. It’s a loud, busy life but it’s what we know.
