Elephant Crane Services

Elephant Crane Services is located at 93 Jaya Chamarajendra Road, which most people just call JC Road. Being near Shivaji Theatre is a good landmark because this part of the city is incredibly crowded and easy to get lost in. There are shops for auto parts and hardware all along this stretch. Our cranes sometimes look a bit out of place parked among all the small stores and the thousands of people walking by. It takes a lot of patience to drive one of these big machines through the traffic here without any trouble. The noise from the street is constant from the early morning until very late at night. We do not have a fancy waiting room for anyone. Usually, people just come to the door and talk to us directly about what they need moved. We have some old photos on the wall of the different jobs we have handled over the years. The name Elephant fits us because the machines are slow but very strong. We spend a lot of our time maintaining the engines because the stop-and-go traffic on JC Road is very hard on the gearboxes. It has a real family feel here and we know most of the other shop owners on the block. There is always something that needs oiling or a bolt that needs tightening before we head out.
