Dishnetdsl Ltd. has its office on the 1st Floor of Mittal Towers, C Wing, right on MG Road. Being on MG Road means we are right in the middle of everything. You can hear the traffic and the people all day long. The office is a bit of a maze with all the wires and the different sections for the DSL equipment. It’s an older building, so it has that specific smell of old carpets and electronics. We spend our time managing the connections and making sure the internet stuff is behaving. There’s always a lot of blinking lights on the racks. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We don't have any big slogans on the walls or anything like that. Just some old calendars and maybe a few posters that have been there for years. The lift in the building is sometimes slow, so we often just take the stairs to the first floor. Lunch is easy because there are so many shops nearby, but it’s always crowded. We’re a mixed bunch of people; some have been here since the start and some are newer. We just show up, handle the technical issues, and try to keep things running for everyone who uses the service. It’s a lot of routine, but it keeps us busy enough.
