Our office is located at the Bpl Software Centre, which you can find at the 11th kilometer mark on Bannerghatta Road. It is quite a long way from the city center, but we have been here for a long time. The building is where we handle all the software work for the telecom side of things. It is a fairly large building, although it looks a bit older now compared to the new glass offices that are being built nearby. Inside, it is a very standard setup with long rows of desks and plenty of cables everywhere. We spend our time working on the systems that keep the communication networks running. It is mostly quiet work, except for the sound of the server fans and people chatting in the small canteen during tea breaks. We have a little garden outside, but honestly, we do not spend much time there because we are usually too busy. The traffic on Bannerghatta Road is usually a nightmare, so we all try to time our commutes so we do not get stuck for hours. We are not doing anything particularly flashy or exciting here. We just write the code, fix the bugs, and maintain the systems as they are. Most of the staff have been working here for years, so we are a pretty close-knit group. We do not get many visitors, so the office stays fairly calm and focused on the work at hand.
