Asian Furniture Co

We’ve been here at Asian Furniture Co for quite some time now, tucked away on 8th Main in Srinagar. If you know where Pallavi Theatre is, we’re just behind that in Sampangiram Nagar at number 7. It’s a busy little spot, but we like it here. People often stop by when they’re looking for a new chair or a table that doesn’t cost a fortune. The shop isn’t fancy or anything, just a lot of wood and fabric piled up. We spend most of our days moving things around to make space for new deliveries. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the inventory, but that’s just how it goes with furniture. My dad started this and now we just keep it running day to day. We don't have a big website or anything, just the physical shop where you can actually sit on the chairs before you decide. Usually, someone is around to help if you have a question about a measurement or if something will fit in a small car. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same building. Most of our regulars live just a few streets away. It’s nothing special, really, just a place to get decent furniture without any fuss. We open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait to see who walks through the door next. It’s a simple way to make a living and we don't expect it to change soon.
