Our shop, Semtee Tools Pvt Ltd, is located at 5/A Doddaballapur, right near that Blue Heaven spot. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but there is plenty of space for what we do. We mostly deal with precision tools and bits that other shops need for their manufacturing lines. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the day. We try to sweep up, but it’s a never-ending battle. It’s not a quiet place. There is always a machine humming or a grinder sparking somewhere in the back. The guys working the lathes know their stuff, even if they don’t say much. We’ve got a small office in the front where the air conditioning works most of the time. We handle the orders there. Doddaballapur has changed a lot since we first set up here. More buildings are going up every year. Our space is functional, nothing more. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and someone will help you. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us since we started. They know we just get the work done. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the workbench. It’s a simple setup. We focus on the tools, make sure the measurements are right, and send them out. That’s the whole story for us here at the shop. We keep it real.
