We are based out on Tumkur Road, near the 10 Mile marker in Madavara. It’s a bit of a drive from the city center, but this is where a lot of the industrial action happens. Being the Indian Machine Tools Mfrs Association means we deal with a lot of paperwork and organizing things for the people who actually make the big machines. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep records and talk to members who drop by. The area is quite open compared to the main town. Most days are spent answering phones or planning the next big gathering of manufacturers. Since we are right on the highway, we see a lot of trucks and heavy equipment passing by every day. It feels right to be located here among the factories. We have a small staff and we’ve been at this Madavara location for a while. There is a lot of space for parking, which is a relief compared to the narrow lanes in the city. We don't really sell anything ourselves; we just act as a hub for the industry folks. If you’re heading out towards Tumkur, you’ll likely see our building near the turnoff. It’s a practical setup for what we do, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the kettle going for visitors and try to stay on top of the industry news that affects everyone in our group.
