Over here at Mescosteel, we are based in Barbil. That’s in the Keonjhar district of Orissa. If you know the area, you know it’s a big spot for mining and industrial work. Our address is right there in Barbil, Keonjhar. The pin code we have is 7578035, though it looks a bit long. We’ve been around this part of Orissa for some time now. It’s a rugged place to work, but we like it. Mescosteel is just a part of the local scene. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a practical place. We deal with steel because that’s what happens in Barbil. The roads can be a bit rough with all the trucks moving in and out of the district. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s not a glamorous job. It’s dusty and loud most days. But that’s just how it is in Keonjhar. We don’t try to make it sound like something it isn't. We are just Mescosteel. Our team lives nearby and we’ve all grown used to the pace here. It’s a hard-working town. We just try to keep up with the daily demands of the steel trade. That’s about all there is to it. The trucks start early and the days are long, but we are used to it. We just keep our machinery running and handle the loads as they come.
