Our place is over at Khalagaria, which is out near Masan Beria via Nampo in the Balasore district of Orissa. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but we are easy to find if you know the way through Nampo. We are the Ncrm, Deptt. 6 Hi Hitachi Cold Rolling Mills and we work alongside M/S Bhusa here. The site is a bit industrial, as you can imagine from the name. We spend our days around the equipment and making sure everything is running right. It’s 756034 for the pin code if you’re sending anything our way. The area around Balasore is known for this kind of setup, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. It’s not a quiet job, but it is steady. We have a good group of people here who know how to handle the daily operations. Most of us live nearby or in the surrounding villages, so it’s a local crew. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. The work keeps going and we keep up with it. It’s the kind of environment where we just focus on what is in front of us. We don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. It’s just our location in Orissa where we work and go home at the end of the shift. That is the long and short of our daily life here in the mill.
