Our place is located in Badua, near the Po-Armala area in Balasore. You have to go via Remuna to get here. It’s a bit out of the way, which honestly isn't so bad. It’s much quieter than being in the middle of a big city. We are part of the Orissa operations for the company. The building we are in is quite simple and fits in with the rest of the local houses and shops. We spend our days looking over the steel orders and making sure the distribution is happening like it should. In the rainy season, the whole area gets very green, but the roads can get muddy. We have a small staff here, and we all pretty much do a bit of everything. There’s no hierarchy that feels too stiff; we just talk to each other and get the tasks finished. It’s the kind of office where you might find a stray cat wandering in or someone’s lunch smelling like good home cooking. We don't have a big corporate lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we know the local rhythm. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation where we focus on the practical side of the steel business. We like the pace of things here and the people we work with every day.
