Balangir Titilagarh Farmer Producer

Starting at Sudam Kumar Nayak’s place in Shikershagadghat, we’ve got this group called Balangir Titilagarh Farmer Producer. It’s basically just us local folks trying to figure out how to do things better together. Titilagarh is where we live and breathe, and honestly, the weather can be a real pain sometimes when it gets too hot to even think about the crops. We aren't some big operation with a glass building and air conditioning. It’s just the shed, the tools, and the fields we work every day. Mostly, we talk about the harvest and who needs help with what this week. If you come by, you’ll probably see a few of us sitting around discussing the latest rain or why the seeds aren't doing what they should. It’s a lot of manual labor and waking up before the sun is even fully out. We don't have some polished way of saying things. We just do the work. The paperwork is the hardest part for us, really. We’d rather be out there where the actual stuff grows. Sudam keeps things organized as much as possible at the house. We’ve known each other for years, so it feels more like family than a company. Sometimes things go well, sometimes they don't, but that’s just how it is with farming. We are just a bunch of people from the village trying to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. No fancy suits here, just dusty boots and a lot of patience for the next season.
