S. D. Metal Udyog

S. D. Metal Udyog is based out of B-173 in Bhikam Colony Extn., right off Tigaon Road. It’s a bit of a trek to get here depending on where you’re coming from, but we like the spot. The area is a mix of homes and small businesses, so there is always something going on. We deal with metal all day long. Whether it's sorting, cutting, or moving heavy pieces around, our hands are always busy. The yard can get a bit messy, especially when we have a lot of stock coming in at once. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning or nice chairs. We mostly work in the open or under the sheds. It gets dusty and loud when the trucks arrive. We’ve been here for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by name. We aren’t trying to be some massive industrial giant with global offices. We just want to provide for our families and do a good job for the people who buy from us. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the yard gets muddy and slippery, but we just put on our boots and keep going. We have a couple of old trucks that we use for deliveries. They aren’t pretty to look at, but they get the job done. It’s just a straightforward metal business. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just sell metal and try to be fair about it.
