Mangalam Metals

Mangalam Metals is over at 1315Mie in Part B of Bahadurgarh. We share space with B.R. Fabrication which makes things pretty interesting during the day. There is always a lot of welding and cutting going on so it’s never really quiet. The Mie area is full of shops like ours and you can hear the machines from down the street. We’ve got a lot of raw materials piled up in the corners and the floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings. It’s a gritty kind of job and we don't try to hide that. No one here wears a tie or anything. We’re usually in work clothes and trying to stay out of the way of the forklifts. Lunch is often eaten right there at the workbench or on the stairs if the weather is nice. We get a lot of local guys coming through for small jobs and some bigger orders that take a few weeks. Dealing with the heat in the workshop during the summer is probably the hardest part of being here. We don’t have a lot of office staff so whoever is free picks up the phone. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don’t have a mission statement or a fancy board of directors. It’s just a bunch of guys who know how to handle metal and want to get the job done right before heading home to their families in Bahadurgarh. We’ve been doing this for years and we like it.
