Our place is out at Plot No. 891 in M.I.E., Part A. It is an industrial area, so there are a lot of factories and sheds all around us. We work with metals, which means there is always a lot of clanging and banging sounds coming from the machines. The floor is concrete and usually has some grease or metal shavings on it. It’s not the kind of place you’d want to wear nice shoes to. We have a small office section where we handle the paperwork and take calls, but most of the action happens on the main floor. The sun beats down on the metal roof and it can get pretty warm inside during the afternoons. We have a few big machines that do most of the heavy work, and a small team of guys who know how to run them. It’s a straightforward industrial setup. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. We just focus on getting the metal cut or shaped according to what is needed. The roads in the industrial estate are a bit bumpy, especially after the rains. We’ve been at this plot for a while and everyone around here knows us. We just keep our heads down and get the orders finished on time. It’s basic manufacturing work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else.
