Shakti Diamond Tools

Our unit is located in the Swayamsiddha Mahila Co-Operative Industrial Society over in Chikalthana. It’s part of the MIDC area here. We focus on making diamond tools for industrial use. It’s a niche kind of work that requires a lot of precision. The workshop isn't massive, but we have the equipment we need to get things done. We’ve been part of this co-operative society for quite some time. It’s a community of small businesses all trying to make a living. The work involves a lot of grinding and checking measurements. We don’t really have a front desk or a reception area. If you come by, you’ll likely find us right in the middle of production. Our tools are used by people who need to cut or shape hard materials. We don't do a lot of advertising; most of our work comes from people who have heard about us through word of mouth. Sometimes we have issues with the water supply or the heat in the MIDC, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a practical, no-nonsense environment. We value the skills our workers have developed over the years. It’s not easy work, but it’s what we know. We just make sure our tools actually work like they’re supposed to when they leave the shop. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running until the day's orders are all finished and packed. It’s how we’ve always operated here in Block No.-16.
