Our company, Indo Graphic Art Machinery Co., is based out of C-96 in the Waluj MIDC area. This is an industrial zone, so it’s all about warehouses and manufacturing plants around here. We spend our days around heavy machinery and parts. It’s a big space because the equipment we handle takes up a lot of room. There’s often the sound of metal moving or tools being used. We aren’t really the type to sit in a clean office all day; we’re usually on the floor checking on the machines. The floor is concrete and the lights are those big industrial ones. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but that’s just part of working in Waluj. We don’t use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just work with graphic art machinery and try to keep everything running smooth. If someone needs a part or has a question about a press, they just call or drop by. We’ve got a small team, and everyone knows their way around the equipment. We don’t have a big fancy sign outside, just the unit number and the name. It’s a practical place for people who care about how machines work. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time and have seen many other units come and go, but we just keep doing our daily routine. The tea here is strong and we work until the sun goes down.
