Nikhil Traders

Our place, Nikhil Traders, is located at number 17 in Mitranagar. We are tucked away right behind the Akashwani station. It’s a relatively quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we actually like. We’ve been trading from this location for many years. The building is just a simple structure that we’ve used for storage and a small shop front. We handle various goods depending on what’s in demand locally. It’s mostly just a few of us working here. We don’t have any fancy uniforms or a big polished showroom. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for a long time. They know where we are, even though there isn't much of a sign out front. Sometimes the radio tower nearby makes for a good landmark when people are trying to find us. The days are usually spent checking inventory and loading up small trucks for deliveries. We drink a lot of tea and chat with the neighbors when it’s slow. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get busy during the festival seasons. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we are just a local trading business trying to do right by our customers. It’s a simple life and the work keeps us active. We’ve been here so long that the building feels like a second home to all of us now.
