Shaikh Contractor & Earth Movers

Our spot is over at Plot No-3 in Silk Mills Colony, right by the railway station. You can always hear the trains coming and going while we are working on the machines. It gets pretty loud and dusty around here, especially when we are moving the heavy equipment around the yard. Most of the time we are just covered in grease and dirt because that is just the way the work goes. We have got a few backhoes and earth movers parked out there on the dirt lot. People stop by after they get off the train sometimes just to ask about a job or see if we can help with some digging they need done at their house. We do not have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk about which site needs the machinery next. The sun hits the yard hard in the afternoon so we spend a lot of time under the tin roof of the shed fixing things. It is honest work and we have been doing it right here for quite some time now. Sometimes the traffic near the station makes it hard to move the trailers out, but we manage to get them on the road eventually. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines and the dirt. It is not always easy but we get by.
