Banarshi Bearing Store

The shop is located on Mawadih Road, directly across from Mahaveer Mandir. You can usually hear the temple bells from inside while we are working. Banarshi Bearing Store has been here for years, and the shelves are pretty much packed from floor to ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze back there with all the different boxes and sizes. We spend a lot of time looking for specific parts for people who come in with a broken bearing in their hand. Most of the time, they are in a hurry to get back to their own work. The road outside can get very busy, especially during the festival times near the temple. We keep the doors open even when it’s dusty because there is always someone pulling up on a scooter. It’s a simple setup. We have a couple of stools for customers and an old desk where we keep the ledger. Sometimes we get the wrong part in a shipment and have to sort it out, which takes all afternoon. My hands are usually a bit oily by the end of the shift. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are because of the temple landmark. We keep things moving, selling what people need to fix their machines or vehicles. It's just a regular local business doing its thing on Mawadih Road and trying to keep the customers happy with what we have.
