At Krishna Engineering, things are usually a bit loud because of the machines. We are situated near the main bus stop in Aurangabad HO. It’s a busy area with buses coming in and out constantly. We handle a lot of small repair jobs and some custom metal work. People bring in parts that need fixing or they want something specific made for their shops or homes. There is always some grease on the floor and tools lying around on the benches. I started this place because I liked working with my hands. It’s not a clean office, it’s a workshop. You can hear the grinding and cutting sounds from the street. My workers have been with me for a few years, they know how to handle the lathes and welding sets. Sometimes we get busy with a big order and the place feels very small. We don't have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. People just stand near the entrance and talk about what they need done. Being near the bus stop is handy because customers from nearby villages can drop off their work and pick it up when they head back. We just focus on getting the job done properly so the machine or part works again. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we’ve become a familiar sight in this part of Aurangabad over the years. We keep the shop open six days a week.
