If you’re looking for us, we are out in the MIDC Area in Chikalthana. Our workshop is Gala No. B-216, which is inside the Tiny Industries section on Plot No. E-52. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s pretty loud with the sound of machines and welding going on in the neighboring units. Our place is no different. We’ve got our own machines running most of the day, and there’s usually a bit of oil on the floor and metal shavings near the workbenches. It’s a hot environment, especially during the summer months, but we have a couple of big fans that keep the air moving. We aren't an office full of people in suits. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty every single day. Most of the time is spent looking at blueprints or adjusting the settings on a lathe. We take our breaks outside near the gate where it’s a bit cooler. The work is steady and repetitive, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been in this gala for a while now, and we know all the other guys working in the nearby units. Sometimes we borrow a tool from someone next door or help them move something heavy. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We just show up, do the work that’s on the schedule, and head home when the sun goes down.
