Durvankur Pure Veg Family Restaurant

We are located in Garkheda, right at the Jawahar Nagar Police Station Chowk. Being a pure veg restaurant, we get a lot of families coming in, especially on Sunday nights when nobody wants to cook at home. The place is in Sukhakarta Sankul, which is a busy little area. We have a lot of tables packed in because we try to fit everyone, but it can get a bit tight when people bring their strollers or big groups. The kitchen is always busy with the smell of tadka and fresh rotis. We don't have a head chef from a big school; we just have people who know how to cook the way we like to eat at home. Sometimes the wait for a table gets a bit long, and people stand outside on the sidewalk chatting. We try to hurry, but you can’t rush good food too much. My kids sometimes hang out in the back after school, which adds to the noise, but it’s a family business after all. We deal with the usual stuff like late vegetable deliveries or a fridge that decides to stop working on the hottest day of the year. You just fix it and keep going. The police station being right there means it’s a safe spot, and we know most of the officers who stop by for tea. It’s just a regular, honest place to get a meal in Aurangabad. No frills.
