Apurva Engineering Works

Our shop is right on Jalna Road, inside the Apna Bazar area. It’s a good spot in Nyay Nagar, basically right next to the Big Bazar. If you know where the main bus stand is, then you’re only a short walk away from our front door. It’s always buzzing around here. People are always coming and going, carrying bags or waiting for their buses. Inside the workshop, things are a bit different. It’s heavy on the smell of metal and oil. We have machines running most of the morning. It can get pretty hot, especially during the summer months when the sun beats down on the roof. We do a lot of repair and fabrication work. It's honest work, even if our hands are always dirty by lunchtime. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People just drop by, tell us what they need, and we see if we can get it done for them. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and scrap bits, but we sweep it up at the end of every day. There is a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. Sometimes it rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We’ve been here at this location for years, and most of the other shop owners nearby are our friends.
