Vikarabad Farmers Producer Companylimited is based in Madanapally at House Number 4-4/1. This is where we handle all the business for our group of farmers. Vikarabad is a good place for farming, but it has its own set of problems that we have to work through together. Our office is just a regular house in the village where we keep our books and meet to talk about our plans. We don't have any fancy furniture or a receptionist; if you walk in, you’re likely to just see one of us sitting at a wooden table with a stack of papers. We focus on the things that help us get our work done, like getting seeds and tools at a fair price. We have a lot of local members, and every decision involves a lot of talk and sometimes a bit of arguing. But that’s how we make sure everyone is heard. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’re all in this together. Some days are long and tiring, especially when the weather isn't cooperating, but we just keep going. The walk to the house can be dusty in the summer and muddy when it rains, but everyone knows the way. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and we like keeping it that way without any unnecessary complications. We just want to get through the season.
